Great dryer, top quality
After using our old dryer for more than 20 years with a 2 star rating and now with Energy prices going through the roof we thought it was time for a new dryer. Absolutely love this Electrolux model. It probably takes as long to dry as the old one, but there is no humid misty room anymore and we're saving on our energy bill.

Great Dryer
Purchased this online on 28/6. There were none in the country. Was 17/7 my dryer would arrive. It arrived on 15/7. Was called immediately. It is now in my laundry. I love it. No condensation. A beautiful machine. Thanks to Josh at Dubbo for keeping me in the loop.

Wouldn't recommend
I bought this model about 6 months ago and persevered for about 4 months but it just wouldn't dry clothes reliably. I would set to max dry which would indicate a 3+ hour cycle, but sometimes within 5 minutes the machine would indicate the cycle was complete. I followed all instructions and cleaned filters regularly, didn't overload the machine, but the moisture sensors just weren't reliable and 9 times out of ten clothes would be not even close to dry. I contacted Electrolux and complained, they sent out a tech who checked over the machine and suggested I try a different model. I chose the ULTIMATECARE 900 3D SENSE because most reviews of this model were very complimentary and yes I agree, this is an awesome machine. So for me, don't purchase the ULTIMATECARE 500, go straight for the ULTIMATECARE 900 3D SENSE and you will be extremely happy.

Great… but
It’s still under warranty. After a load I went to empty the water container - but it was empty already?!. Water had bypassed the water collecting tank and went on floor and inside machine. It’s been waiting for a part now for 6 weeks which not fair and reasonable. No offer of loan dryer given. Great machine - when it goes! Looks like it won’t be fixed until after Xmas…
It would get 5 stars if repair was faster or loan machine given.

Big Disapointment
I thought in the shop a very basic and easy dryer to operate,which it is. However
Since getting it home have experienced that it's nowhere near as easy.
So far the clothes take way to long to dry, Have had to do them two or three times to get them dry. My old dryer would leave it for dead
I will battle on and make changes as directed by the manual to get a better outcome but
have to say very disapointed so far.

I love my 8kg UltimateCare 500 Heat pump dryer wit
I bought this 3 months ago to get me through the long wet winter. I absolutely love it. Can't believe the clothes that can now be put in a dryer (sports clothes). Drying times are accurate and the room doesn't steam up like the old-type dryers. One of the best appliances i have ever bought. Thoroughly recommend to anyone. Plus with the 7 starts energy rating, I didn't notice an increase in my electricity usage.

Not wroth the money
Brought this dryer 5mths ago, what a waste of money, the 12 program heat pump condenser blah blah, so not worth it, it's advertised as energy efficient .....it has to be, it takes sooooo long for it to dry anything, i've had the dryer take up to 8hrs to complete a cycle, i was suckered in thinking this was the business, so wrong, i just wanted a dryer to dry....not part dry, sports dry....just dry!

Heat Pump Dryer
We bought this appliance over 12 months ago...
What a revelation... It's gentle on clothes, easy to use and best of all our electricity bill did not change. We use it daily as we live in a unit and I'm waiting for our washing machine to pack it in so I can also have the washing machine. Highly recommend this product for efficiency, cost effective, intuitive gentle drying of clothes.
