A Classic mixer that will last a lifetime
I love my Kitchenaid mixer. It’s sleek black finish and classical design is just beautiful. I’m just getting to learn the workings of the machine having used handheld beaters for so long. It’s a welcome change. My 2 main negatives are : 1 the mixer should be sold with the beater/ scraper combo (it comes with 3 types of beaters but this isn’t one of them). This beater is essential for creaming butter and sugar or making butter cream. 2. I find it difficult to add the flour whilst the machine is in operation with out spilling it. The Artisan comes with a cover and Shute. I’m not sure why Kitchenaid thought this was not necessary.

Sturdy and Reliable
Bought this because I needed a new mixer and the price was right. It does everything I need it to do very well. It’s sturdy and easy to use. Very affordable.
My only criticism is that you have to scrape the sides of the bowl and for that reason I wish the scraper attachment was available for this model.

Easiest to use mixer
I ‘m very happy with this mixer, as it’s very easy to change attachments even with arthritic fingers.
The only thing that would improve the initial setup, is to have the scrapper blade, instead of the dough hook.

Only get the best
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been waiting for about six months to buy my KitchenAid mixer. I grew up with a standard KitchenAid mixer and my grandma had a fancier version (which I inherited) and both still work! That's over 30 years of use and the motor and gadgets are still working.
The only reason I had to buy a new standup mixer is because I moved from the States to Australia. That's going from 110W to 220W and plugging the mixer into a converter doesn't seem safe.
I also bribed my husband with homemade cinnamon rolls once we got the mixer... Yep, it turns out the KitchenAid mixer was a priority. Thanks for being so reliable KitchenAid!

Fantastic stand mixer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this model just before Christmas and put it through its paces with my Christmas baking. It didn’t skip a beat, I am very happy with its performance. I am yet to try out the dough hook, as I mainly bake cakes etc so was happy to get the base model for this purpose.
I will say it is a very heavy machine, we don’t have a lot of bench space and it is heavy to move back into storage. Not so much of an issue for me, but could be problematic for an older person who may find it difficult to move if it isn’t being left on display in one spot.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using my Classic Stand Mixer for 3 weeks now and am very pleased with my purchase. It is very easy to use, and I've had excellent results when making bread, cakes and biscuits. You do have to stop it and scrape down the sides a couple of times, but apart from that it is very efficient. I switched up from the KitchenAid hand mixer to the stand mixer and it has been a wonderful addition to my kitchen. It is very easy to clean as well. Would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a no nonsense reliable high quality stand mixer.

Great machine, improve accessories.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have used this machine a handful of times and love how easy and efficient it is. Only downside I have come across is the painted paddle attachment, used once and the coating is peeling. After reading other reviews it seems a very common occurrence. It wouldn't stop me from buying the machine, but I feel like Kitchenaid should either replace the paddle and dough hook with a stainless steel one, or atleast give an appropriate discount to upgrade to the stainless steel attachments.

Always wanted a KitchenAid stand mixer - bought one a couple of weeks ago - plan on using it regularly- first time today - making a baked lemon cheesecake - sooooo simple to use - very efficient and easy to clean. Would have been more convenient if the bowl had a handle. Very happy with my purchase.
